Recently I was traveling to speak at a conference and started up a conversation with a woman. I noticed that she wanted to talk about what was wrong with each topic we covered. I decided to have some fun! When she complained about how her traveling was going, I shared how my traveling had led to some big "adventures". With a big smile on my face, I shared that they had closed Miami airport due to thunderstorms and we had to go to Dallas for a while - which resulted in my getting into my hotel in Miami at 3am the night before I had to speak at 9am! Just one of life's adventures not something to fume over or stress about.
It was fun to watch her catch on and begin to talk about the good in things too. In Jack Canfield's book, The Success Principles(TM): How to Get from Where You Are to Where You Want to Be he has a section called Drop Out of the Ain't it Awful Club - this is such a big concept! Good Morning Girlfriends!! It seems totally crazy that it has been less than a year ago that I had a complete re-direction for my life's path. I have to share with you that I feel like I am out there dancing on the skinny branches - yeah I know I could fall, but what excitement! I feel like I am way out in front of things and the foundation is way behind me. But, I have to keep pressing forward because the energy around what I am doing is so high right now.

That's a joke. Of course they love me, but I have been less available and they have been very supportive.
Girlfriends, this is fun and I want you to experience it too! Get in touch with who you really are by discovering what you are really passionate about in this life. [...]

Recently I’ve been telling you about a new book called Awakened Wisdom: A Guide to Reclaiming Your Brilliance by my friend and colleague Patrick Ryan. Most impressively, the book took the Number-1 slot in Canadian spirituality sales (click to see a screen shot), and the #3 slot in self-help, sharing the very same page on Amazon with top-selling spirituality titles such as Don Miguel Ruiz’s Four Agreements, Eckhart Tolle’s A New Earth and Elizabeth Gilbert’s Eat Pray Love. At one point, Patrick and Eckhart were dancing back and forth in the top 5 spots on the Canadian list, which is interesting because so many people have compared these two writers even before the book was released. In the US, it soared to the top of the Kindle spiritual self-help titles, [...]
